1/24 Monday Received email last night the girls had close contact at the Y and need to quarantine T_T Thankfully Jam doesn't mind taking a few days off. Small upside is not having to force the kids to bed before midnight (they stayed up till 12:30) or wake them up early. The whole evening was spend recording Chinese new year greetings. Lots of takes and some mom tantrums later, we had cute footage! Sent to Jam's parents too. Good job me! 1/25 Tuesday Took the kids for the evening again since Jam took them for the whole day. Good job Jam! Got back to doing a little extra reading with the kids - have been doing only Spong homework since beginning of the year. 1/26 Wednesday Got covid result back within 24 hours :o Stuffed kids back in school.  1/18 Found out last night Lily and Kiki are dead T_T thrown in the garbage Took the kids to Kumon to get placement test and orientation. They did well, and waited 1.5 hours for lady Denise to tell me about the program. Coloring book + pokemon + running around sufficed. Cupcake place was closed by the time we left, so we went to QFC and got icecream. They were so happy, came home and had the ice cream, didn't care about Lily & Kiki's news, all for the best. 1/19 I can't believe I won't have more time to be better to them. Did a pokey raid, long battle because one person's app crashed. Jam pokeyz all deadz. Quickly healed whatever he could from gifts, did another raid. My app crashed.  1/10 Kids came back Spong booklets Ella's <3 Mimi's <3 Went to seattle for covid booster in the middle of the day. Got Ooink ramen. Homemade ramen looked great! But hard when we ate in the car.  1/3 School was canceled :o Jam took the kids to shopping and got sushi, boba, and flowers. I'm so slow at work! Daniel took a look at code for half an hour and concluded what I was questioning for the whole day. Only to rule out using client. Back to service change that I don't know where to start at. Decided to not to go offsite and catch up on learning (hopefully). I got usbc cables to transfer data between phone, so many errors, stuck at every progress indicator. Finally tried wireless transfer, worked perfectly. 1/5 In the morning, the account deletion task that's supposed to be completed this week, sounds like it doesn't have a deadline - what's important is to make progress Jaime says. Ella was distraught having to leave lao lao's. But she pulled herself together and cried a lot less than last time.  After getting home, the girls drew together for a long time. Mimi found a darth vader coloring page. She was very excited. Ella said something like Oh we have that, Oh you have that, Oh I don't have that. I encouraged her to go look for another copy of the same coloring page. She went. Mimi said "my sister is so excited that I found Darth Vader". Jam said "oh we will see". Ella came back empty handed and whined about not having a Darth Vader. I asked her to go find something else, or else I'll take away color by number. As she went away, Mimi squeaked "get the one with the seal". Ella came back with the seal and a smile. Mimi went and got her seal and put it beside the paper and asked Ella to color just like it.
