1/31 Monday

Ella made a card for Sophie.

Nanny didn't make it. Jam and I took turns taking the kids. We went to storm water together, I did a raid and walking around, the kids wilded. Lots of fun.

2/1 Tuesday

At dinner, Mimi, with mouthful of bagel, said: Mrs Arnold said Mrs Spong's class was the best class ever. Our class was the best in the whooole school. And she gave a sweet smile. 

We went to Kumon for the first time. The girls liked it, they both got 哥哥for homework time. Mimi: I like your uncle more, he is like Max, my uncle is like little Max. Ella: I think so too.

The girls talked about PE class in the car. Mimi: did you see Clement? He slipped on so many bananas. Ella: me and Aisha don't like bananas, did you see us hiding from all the bananas? Later in the day Sabrina messaged me that Clement was very happy Mimi asked him to be on the same team during PE. Mimi said she asked Sophia and they were a team, then she didn't want to ask Sophie again, so she asked clement. 

Ella made cards for Mrs. Spong and Nika.

2/2 Wednesday

Ella dreams :')

Ella made a card for Aisha. She said she didn't like Aisha because Aisha said a lot of things she didn't like, like 'benjamin isn't your friend'. She told me she was only in a team with Aisha in PE because they were the only two left.

Mimi made a card for Mrs Spong.

2/3 Thursday

Account delete proposal was shut down :') But feature also got delayed :o But still need to do the parts for guest account which are the hardest parts :') and with riskier behavior :o Click button = account gone. Apparently that passed security review, guests are dispensable. Seems like it's solved by not allowing them to make purchases and make friends ^^b

When I picked up the girls from the Y, Ella told me today Ben might not be happy, because he threw a magnet at Mimi, got scolded by Doug and cried. Mimi added 小ben criiiiied.

We went to kumon. I just beat up a gym (I had started when the kids were finishing eating in the car), went to try to scan the burger place sign, when I heard MAMMAAAA and an Ella ran to me down the strip mall. I took Ella to scan the pokey stop, Mimi came out soon and yelled WAIT FOR ME. The driving was 2x the time it took them to finish Kumon :') Gonna change to zoom class.

Mimi came to me and told me she asked Ellie to be in a team with her, Ellie said yes, but then decided to be in a team with Layla, and she was left alone. Ella said Mimi had to pair up with Aanahut. Mimi said she had to be alone. I gave her a hug, she sniffled for a bit. Then she said next time if Ellie sat next to her, she will sit somewhere else, because Ellie might want to sit with Layla afterwards. And hehe'ed.

Ella had been asking to keep her bun and wear the Elsa dress to bed.

2/4 Friday 

Listened to all hands. The answer to why Catan game was cancelled was basically 'we didn't get the game play right. from the beginning. And only accepted after two years' 😂

Kids got report cards. Same score everywhere. 5 O's, around participation. Occasionally, not consistently. Had a chat with Mrs. Spong, same stories as last year. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  BUT she showed us their new journal entries, they are so cute!! Ella had a super elaborate drawing of perhaps baba and mama at the table with all kinds of things on the table, laptop, fruits, flowers. Mimi remembered she played with clement during the 3 day weekend. 

Nanny did math homework and a worksheet with them. Yay! Somehow they got the same question wrong with the same wrong answer. Suspicious. 

Can't stop thing about saving money on Kumon by copying :')

2/5 Saturday

I read the Chinese poem for ruyi's class with mimi. It went 我们一家人，妈妈起得最早。Mimi: our MA 起的最晚。这个是opposite of ma. We went on 妈妈起来就会打扫，我们家很干净，都是妈妈的功劳。Mimi: opposite of puff MAAAA! And squeezed my head.

Mimi's saying 'man' more and more. Even Ella's catching on. "It's scary man". "Man don't show mom that". "oooh maaaan."

2/6 Sunday

Spent an hour cuddling with the kids, was bullied a lot by them. We talked about the kitties, and I cried a little about not able to take care of them, Ella said to me sternly: "NO we DON'T need to have pets. Pets are not important!" I tried to explain to her that we don't need pets, but when I adopted them, I made a promise to take care of them. She was more worried about the "we" don't need pets part. 

I tried to do some of my overdue homework with the kids in the morning. Crashed by my own goals of tigering :') We went for a nice stroll at Junita bay park, then Jam took over rest of the afternoon & evening. I made some good progress at work.
