3/21 - 3/27/2022

 3/21 - Monday

I was so tired after a long day of work. Happy in the morning that delete account magically worked! Sad in the afternoon that data access required a lot more on top of delete account, and didn't work even by the end of the day.

I didn't have much energy, so didn't push the girls to do homework with me. Mimi got angry and wanted to run away. I helped her take off her shoes. The suddenly had an idea to ask her for a walk together. She held my face close and nosed me, then happily went outside with me. She held my hand, bounced, and talked for the entire walk. The wet road was reflecting the street light. She saw in the lights stars, bugs, and fireworks. She said she remembered when they were small and liked to walk through Aisha's yard, and I'd tell them to not walk on other people's yard. But now she knows it's not other people's yard, it's Aisha's yard. 

3/22 - Tuesday

Gathered more energy for work and re-injected all the big table stuff. Magically worked! After a looong day of rerunning dataflows, successfully got a zipped file \T_T/

3/23 - Wednesday

Just when I thought dataflows were done, had to redo it to demonstrate for QA, and got failure after failure T_T Luckily LT was around at night, and was able to help me understand more about pipeline failures. Was finally done around 10:30p, found mom falling asleep on the couch downstairs, and sent her upstairs. Thankful for ma and xiao Jam for taking care of wild kids and feeding me :) 

3/24 - Thursday

Another day of running through GDPR pipeline. This time with QA ladies, at least I'm the expert this time and it succeeded in one run! Within the hour! :') 

Jam went to Kumon with us. Lao lao packed veggies & fruits for us, and we got MackyD & Salt and Straw <3

Ella taught me to draw. She narrated each step and I followed. She kept saying I didn't have to follow her steps, although she always checked my drawing after each step. At one point she said "draw two leave shapes" - the upper part of the orange shape. I drew two leave shapes. She said "draw them together, they have to touch at the bottom, it's a butterfly". I made my leaves bigger and touched at the bottom. After we're done, she asked me what I thought of my drawing. Was it thumbs down, thumbs like this (horizontal), or thumbs up. I said I thought it was thumbs up. She said she thought it was "more like this": one thumb horizontal one thumb up. And hers was two thumbs up (ovo)b I wrote our names and prepared to take pictures. She took the papers and wrote our names in dry erase marker for me. After I took the photos, she said she wanted to take the pictures upstairs with her, so "we can do more things with them". 

3/27 - Sunday

In the morning Mimi asked me what's the order, Chinese and cherry, or cherry and Chinese. I couldn't understand, and answered that cherry in Chinese is ying hua. She asked again: tell me, is it Chinese and cherry? I asked her to tell me what she thought I would say, she said "中文樱花“. I said ok. Then we got ready to go see cherries at UW. Mimi asked: 中文不来么？Then I realized she was asking about duo duo, who usually came on Sunday morning. I agreed that it'll be cherry and Chinese today. Duo duo was moved to the afternoon so we could go out when it is sunny.

When Jam took a turn onto the highway, Ella said: 爸爸开车很安全，但是我不觉得安全。
