5/9 - Monday

The girls came home and started puffing and cheeking me, telling me they didn't want me to go to the wedding. Then they moved on to play with lao lao.

5/10 - Tuesday 

Lunch ramen yum yum.

Nice drive while listening to music and talking to jam. Jam's jokes are golden XD 

Romantic beach walk with jam! Called the girls and they urged jam to jump into the water, not fake, "head first flat into the water then followed by your body" - Mimi.

Bonfire and grooving to songs from teenage years with friends <3

5/11 - Wednesday

Super long drive for chores. Cake drama :') Jam was a trooper <3

Wedding! It was so cold! E stayed out so long! After ~40 min in the house and warmed up, we noticed E not only was still doing photos, was actually in the sea doing photos :o 

Cake, double p (poker and pgo), and cheese meat fruit board rounded out the night. ヾ(´︶`♡)ﾉ 

5/12 - Thursday

Fun brunch with the ladies! Jam the entertainer continued to work his magic :D

Jam and I educated each other in our anime/Japanese music history during the ride home. 

Had some mom dumplings and went to grab the girls from school, then to Kumon. Got stressed and was mean to the kids after confirming my fears that they did no homework :( 

5/13 - Friday

Going to dish out some money for IOWA prep to lower my stress ╭(･ㅂ･)و

I promised the girls they could stay up late if they helped me with laundry. Ella picked up one of my t-shirts (the one R gave me, of the black cat with the four leave clover in its mouth), and asked if she could wear it. She put it against her shoulders and chuckled, then said she'd need to grow up a little. She asked if she could wear it when she is a preteen. I said for sure. She proceeded to fold it, and asked me if she folded it well. She did! She folded all the adult clothes and matched all the adult socks before putting them in the bag. She told mimi: this way (folded) they are smaller and we can fit more in. The girls indeed fit all the clothes in one paper bag. Ella then said she would put the bag by the stairs. Mimi followed her, and said she would carry it upstairs, "mama will be so happy when she sees it upstairs, I'll put it where she always put it". Later Mimi found two of their shirts that are the same, folded them, showed me and exclaimed "we have two shirts that match! Eloise and I can match!" I asked if they both wanted to match, they both gave big nods. When I went upstairs, I saw the bag with adult clothes neatly laid flush against the wall right outside our bedroom door :) 

5/14 - Saturday

I requested Jam send a girl to cuddle me awake. An Ella came and lectured me about being lazy :') while using her little fist to hit my head non stop :') "it's not 9 mom, I saw the clock on daddy's computer, it's almost 10:30".

Hot pot was great! Dr Strange was only ok. But enjoyed time with Jam :) 

Ella and I had a ball fight, where she used magic and I used a flamingo shield :)

Found Chinese One Piece as reward for the girls :) Although episode 1 was not episode 1 XD The girls loved it! Mimi thought it was too scary and kept coming to me and telling me how Luffy was stuck in a barrel.  

5/15 - Sunday 

The kids have been doing very well at NNAT for Kindergarten. Amelia got 39/40 two times. So tried 1st grade test again today. Both got 24/40, same as a month ago :') 

Ella mewed anxiously and loudly when she did each question. She stated that those were hard. She threw a tantrum for getting yellow. With some encouragement we walked through all the ones she got wrong, and she was able to correct them. 

I tried to explain to Mimi one answer couldn't be correct because the line entered at the left side of the rectangle, not the top. Mimi kept saying it entered at the top. After timing her out and talking a little more, I'm was no longer sure if she really couldn't understand which side was the top and which was the left, or being stubborn and difficult. After I said the top is where an apple wouldn't fall off if put there, she seemed to get it. I gave her an option to stop correcting and watch one piece another day. She accepted at first. Then came back after taking some steps, and said she she thought she should finish. She  then asked to have some 脸袋力量. While we are cheeking, her plump cheek on one of my cheek and her soft hand on another, she said 爸爸和ella不需要脸袋力量因为他们聪明，不像我们。脸袋力量不像别的，它会回来的。I asked if her cheeks would puff back, she nodded big nods with big eyes.
