7/11 - 7/17/2022

 7/11 - Monday

At bedtime Ella said: "I want to show you how we two snuggle". Possibly because Mimi requested us to look at her and baba's snuggle many days ago. Ella held my hand and led me upstairs. At the middle of the stairs, she called back to Mimi who was still downstairs playing, "Mimi if you want to see us snuggle you can follow us upstairs". Mimi did. We walked to the top of the stairs, Ella stopped again and said "let's wait for everyone to catch up". We waited for Mimi. Then Ella led me into bed, hugged my head and snuggled my puff aggressively and kissed it all over.

7/13 - Wednesday

Ella threw a tantrum when doing homework, and came up to hang with me. She was in a snuggle tantrum loop. Mimi followed and laid in our bed to do her IXL. Ella grumpily but quietly walked to her room and took a nap. While she was napping I drew a picture for each kid, one of me hugging Ella, and one of Mimi and me sitting at a table cutely. I cut them into hearts. After half an hour I woke Ella up and showed her the drawing. She rubbed her eyes for a while, took the picture, squeaked for a bit, kissed the picture, and went downstairs and did homework.

7/14 - Thursday

Chris is too good, gonna do the work I estimated for 4 weeks in 4 days X'D

Took a family walk.

7/15 - Friday

Squeezed in rest of pgo short term fix & testing for the day, and IOWA practice with kids \ToT/ Pray for approval and get in hi-cap now. I report to Anhang now :o and worried I can't compete with the other two hard working young people :')

7/16 - Saturday

The kids had been asking me to go to the 姥爷beach with them so they could show me the 螃蟹和寄生蟹。Jam decided to go too since today was forecasted to be good weather. We woke up bright and early, I had time to shower and got kids ready and beautiful before 10. We got in the car and it started raining. It was SO COLD at the beach. We first went to the spot on the map 姥爷 thought was the beach. It was very rocky. We shivered while walking, and found just one crab. It was way too cold and the girls said there was a sandy beach. I remembered coming once with 姥爷 to this beach, where he pinched 姥姥's hand. So I convinced the family to go back to the car and drove to the other entrance. It was slightly less rocky, no sand, but had a huge open muddy spot. It was still not 姥爷's spot but the girls agreed to explore. While walking through the rocks to reach the mud, Ella cut her toe. She cried to go back to the car. Jam decided to take her. Mimi and I stayed and adventured on. Mimi loved stepping in the puddles. I joined. It was really fun and not freezing. We found some crabs, and one 海螺 floating upside down down a stream that Mimi insisted to be a jelly. The 海螺meat really looked like a jelly bubble!  Mimi was very excited all the way back to the car: "I really want to show Eloise the little jelly, mom please take care of Eloise next time (so she doesn't cut her toe), so we can all go to the beach and see the creatures. I'll tell Eloise what we saw and you'll tell daddy what we saw. No we both tell what we saw to daddy and Eloise."

I ended up only catching 3 crabs. At night jam noticed one crab crawling on the floor. Ella: "oh it's my fault." But she didn't tell us when she tipped the cup 😆 lao ye got the crab back, we counted, but there were only two. The girls ran around for 10 min looking for it, and actually found it hiding behind their hats on the floor! Lao ye got all the crabs back. Ella:把他们放在楼下，他们不会pinch你的屁股。Mimi: you are so smart Eloise. 

7/17 - Sunday

Starly community day. I started the day with a very golden bidoof, then no shinies. I did eventually get 3 shinies, including a 10cp little cutie. Jam easily (he insisted he worked hard and) caught 7 shinies :O

Good bye surrey. 

Found a beach to take the family. I mistook it (by looking at google pictures) for a beach we went to, which was rocky and comfortable. It ended up to be a strange beach with lots of seaweed, lots of slippery rocks that we needed to carefully walk over to get to the small rock beach, and questionable runoff. Jam and I ended up liking it because it was less curated. The girls had fun playing through the questionable runoff. Mimi repeated "I love this beach", Ella repeated "this is not the best beach."

We had big boba boy bobas while driving and Ella had to pee after the beach trip. For her statement that she couldn't hold it, I urged her to pee in the grass. She was very scared that someone would 批评us, but ended up not being able to hold. I also found out she doesn't know how to squat and pee, and ended with a handful of wet pants. Luckily there was a Costco 5 min away, and I pottied and cleaned up both girls. 

Hit another Costco in woodinville to fill fridge, have dinner, came home in good time, played, did NNAT, and still had lots of time to convince Steve that go fest ticket really covered whole day, and figure out craze schedule for Saturday :D
