8/15 - 8/21/2022

 8/15 - Monday

Took morning off to go to kids's well child. No concerns of Mimi's eyesight as they're 20/16 - better than 20/20 :O The nurse didn't know what "animal was" Mimi's shirt. It's a camera.

Jam got an annoy email from the annoy Indian pm, so we decided to not wait for Farine and got bubble waffle. I ordered a half and half waffle, the waffle maker came back with two waffles, turned out he made a mistake and didn't make half and half, and just offered us both :D

Shanda came for the afternoon. The kids politely told her things about school, and naughty Clancy / lancy from camp.

I showed Shanda the homework list. She immediately made a schedule for when the girls would do them :) Ella came up around 3pm to give me Jello, and to inform me that they did their homework "very early". Shanda reported they did very well.

I ended the day at 5p, abandoned the idea of keeping Shanda for another hour, as I was too sleepy to work more. The girls really wanted to see what happened to Bellemere (Nami's mom in one piece). Yesterday I stopped the episode at when the fishmen noticed Bellemere's house, for fear it was too intense right before bed. So today the girls remembered to ask me to watch early. I started the episode, it only had 1 min left XD I promised to show them another episode, as soon as they finished their NNAT correction session. And finish way before bedtime.

The correction session went long, till Jam came home and finished cooking. But both girls did well, despite the hard questions, they were possibly 2nd grade. I then ate and watched the next episode of one piece with the girls. Mimi hid behind a chair when Bellemere was shot. Ella chewed her finger and had maybe teary eyes. Later she asked why Nami's story is much sadder than Luffy's. I explained that one piece was written as it was being published, and there'll be more backstories for Luffy, and everyone. They're pumped to see the next thousand episodes.

In the evening Jam tried to play Carverna with the girls. Mimi lost interest after some time, came to me, and informed me it was "craft time with mimi". We did crafts.

8/16 - Tuesday

I slept in. Got up just in time to see read some messages about Blot problems, worried for a bit, then decided to forget about it and head out for Jam party.

It was a feast of many foods! The girls did very well during eating. Not the actual eating, but just sitting nicely and not making trouble. I was able to chat with Fransoi, Thomas, and Eason. After eating we played a bit at the playground, before the girls complained it was too hot, and we bailed, leaving the other parents, and went back to the shelter. I played a bit with the kids, pokeyed a bit while they played, then pottied for about half an hour - the walk to the potty is a nice long walk with many plants to look at. Then I played different games with the kids - Ella, Mimi, May, and Eason's daughter, for more than an hour, running around, frequently out of breath. First Ella and Mimi devised a game where Ella would hide, and Mimi would trick me by telling me where Ella was, when in fact Ella was somewhere else. Ella would then appear and yell BOO to scare me. We then got May and Eason's daughter to play together. We played many kids games, including some tagging and racing that was way too much exercise for me. I tried to really run and race with May, lost by a lot XD Fransoi joined for a bit and with his long legs, dashed and caught May XD

Food was delish

I came home to get 4 bugs for Blot issues. Although didn't have time for them, as chores (including this sweet diary), NNAT, chatting, kids driven crafts, shower, and Tokyo ghoul took the entire evening. No regrets XD

8/17 - Wednesday

4 bugs down to 2 bugs. Wasted an afternoon compiling blot again X'D

In the morning Ella had a fight with Mimi, for Mimi did 2 of her homework the night before. Even after promising to me, the previous night, that she wouldn't fight about it. Ella got mad and crumbled Mimi's math sheet, and I got mad and torn up her math sheet. Luckily she somehow calmed down when Shanda came, enough that I could go have a meeting with Jaime, where Jaime was too broken up on the train to really talk :')

The girls had a fun day with Shanda, did a lot of loom bands, and almost finished a mac and cheese bowl each. Until the day came to homework time. Apparently neither of them knew what a sentence about "present" (tense) means. They took turns coming to my room to yell at me about how none of the sentences is about presents, aka gifts. I explained present/past/future tense to them. They both seemed to get it. Then took turns coming back and yelling at me about how hard the questions were.

When I finished the day, Mimi had finished her homework and Ella did only math, which Shanda had helped her tape back together. I helped Ella finish her other homework. Then made dinner for them, by putting one piece of bread together with a piece of cheese, warming up a pizza, cutting up two eggs I boiled previously, and poured soy sauce on them. I read full metal while they finished the food fairly quickly, for how much there was. They then requested yogurt dinner. I made yogurt dinner, and they finished yogurt dinner.

I was very sleepy, so chilled while watching the girls do craft and draw until almost 7:30p. Then we started doing NNAT. It took almost half an hour for Mimi, and I gave up doing NNAT with Ella. Jam graciously took over, and I had time for shot and fix the blot bugs down to 1 \ToT/

While two playing at night, Ella lost her tooth! They came in my room and showed me.

Front bottom left gone

Extra pic of Mimi sweet's fresh bottom teeth

8/18 - Thursday

SRM suppression check has no ultrasound? I requested one anyways, oh well, live on Jam's big paycheck and pray SRM is not less competent than Poma. At least my follicle count sounded ok, so I can stop worrying about being oversuppressed on birth control + lupron for 2 weeks.

Got some chick fil a on the way back. The girls and Jam, and even myself, enjoyed. Sat down to work after 2 hours of ordeal, was sleepy the whole day. I then found out after calling scheduling, that SRM only did weekend appointments & egg retrieval in Seattle. Managed to do a little bit of work, while worked through the scheduling.

Ella was grumpy about homework today, but after my stern encouragement/criticism, calmed down and finished it with Shanda.

In the evening I practiced with the girls to always pick at least one fruit or veggies or school lunch. They told me they will do and they cared about their assholes :)

With Shanda here, the number of drawings and crafts have greatly increased.

8/19 - Friday

Backup care shortened my reservation last minute. They ignored my request to cancel the shortening a few days ago, at the very last minute XD I fixed by dishing out money to Shanda.

Alto forgot to add back my Gonal-F after changing dosage. Which I fixed by calling. Thank past Song for scheduling an afternoon delivery, so I can have one more evening delivery.

The whole team will work on contact import together, had two meeting with everyone discussing all work items and picked and chose work. I liked it, I really like my teammates :)

Had fun reading and talking about full metal alchemist with the girls. They came up with questions to quiz me. Mimi: "There is a knock at the door, Greed asked who is it, it said du ba du ba." I answered gluttony, she said "no, it was Obviously Lust." Note to self, confirm if Lust has a catchphrase. Ella: "He said I don't want to go to work." It was of course Sloth.

IOWA wasn't as fun and we didn't finish. At least there wasn't too much tantruming.

8/20 - Saturday

Another free waffle at happy lemon! This time the teenager employee make a mistake. The Indian/middle eastern store owner? decided to give out free original bubble waffles for us while we waited for our chocolate ones. The owner? is indeed very nice. The kids and I walked around while Jam waited. We discovered the construction going on behind the plaza. The girls were confident it will be a "lake to lake" bridge.

Had a small detour to mirror trade karablast with Daisy. After telling her we'll be too early and miss her, for she had a 10a school board meeting. I arrived 20 min late at 12:30 XD

It was a nice cool day to pick blueberries. It wasn't as plentiful as last time, and many were overripe. But every single berry was sweat!

After getting home, we did IOWA & NNAT. I then took the kids for a stormwater pokey craze walk. The girls played well together and collected many plants. Mimi told us about her nightmare of being sent to a camp, "then I found out the adults were bad people". When asked how were they bad, she whispered "they tried to kill me". The plot was very much like the promised neverland, which I did tell them some time ago. Mimi's version had monsters who pretended to be human and ran the camp, but really wanted to eat the kids, and the kids must escape together, or else they would all be scared. At the end the monsters were smooshed by a car, which Mimi think was driven by Ella. Ella: "sometimes do real bad people pretend to run camp?" I answered not really, because it takes a lot of energy.

In the evening Mimi's armpits, neck, and pants area are all turned red. She said they hurt :( "the little pants are always comfortable, but today they become very small." Referring to her favorite boy panties that she had on. Jam changed panties for her and I rubbed calamite lotion all over her. While I was rubbing, Ella put some on her hand and gently put them on Mimi's red areas. Ella asked if she should put some in Mimi's bellybutton, I considered, then said no.

8/21 - Sunday

Jam told me about path of exile drama while driving. Players didn't like the latest "improvements". Hard to maintain a game with passionate player base :')

We (mostly Jam) picked blackberries, and walked a stretch of the discovery park trail. It was very pretty. The berries were very sour.

We had some pizza and went into the pool. I joined the fam this time.

After a couple hours I gave the girls a safety potty. They needed it. While Ella scooted to the toilet, she shivered and said she was cold. When she started to pee, she said "it's warm." Mimi said the exact same thing when it was her turn.

I failed E & Steve's swimming lessons. I did float with R's help! Just for a few seconds, but still XD I did hang on R for dear life every time I tried to get up, and she carried me like a princess in the water XD

The girls ate R's chicken! Which was so tasty.

Near the end of the 3 hour pool time, Mimi started having a heat rash or eczema :( At least she had a lot of fun. We watched she hulk, which Ella demanded to watch instead of any Disney cartoons. Jam was a better seller of shows than E XD Mimi did ok watching, but the bumps remained.

We then headed home. Mimi fell asleep and her bumps got better. Jam laid her on the couch to sleep, in ~10min she woke up crying "what did you do to me? What did you do to me when I was sleeping?" Big tears streamed out of her big eyes and made pools on the hardwood floor, where she walked through to find us. Apparently it hurt between her toes. I examined them, there was nothing special, and she said they didn't hurt anymore about I looked at them.

I gave her a shower and a good lotioning. She said "lao lao said she had a sister that died". I said yes. She said "I think she had a 病 that is a lot of blisters. And she died. Lao lao had the 病 of a lot of blisters too, but I think she did no scratch, she was very tough." I admitted I didn't know how lao lao's sister died, and lao lao is very tough. And promised Mimi she didn't have any of the pox diseases. And prayed to myself.

Mimi was then good for a few hours. When it's bedtime she started scratching again and the rash came back. Luckily the only part of her body with problem now is her forearms and hands. I gave her a melatonin, and she fell asleep within half an hour.
