 2/14 - Monday Received testing phone from Niantic after Amazon lost the last one. Opened the box, saw a note that said 'thanks for buying a refurbished phone', thought 'haha cost savings', found receipt in box, it was >$600 :O Weather was so good I walked to pick up the kids from the Y. They walked all the way back with me. Mimi complained that her backpack was too heavy, Ella asked Mimi to hand over her backpack and carried it for her all the way home. Ella refused to let me carry her candy bag for her, "if you carry it you will eat the candy", she said. The girls were so happy to get all different kinds of candies for Valentine. I know for next time that Valentine's card means candy label. Even Clement attached a sticker gift! Jam and I went out and picked up Musashi. 2/7 - Monday Got email that kids had close contact at the Y again, expected call from school or the Y to pick them up early, call never came. I pretended not to see the email :') When I went to pick up the kids and mentioned to Doug, he said "yeah, I'm ok as long as they don't have symptoms. It's a crazy time". With his usual frequent head nods. Thanks Doug! Fully vaccinated kids stay at school without symptoms too, I don't feel so bad :') Still reported to school tonight, glad Jam can take the kids tomorrow. 1/31 Monday Ella made a card for Sophie. Nanny didn't make it. Jam and I took turns taking the kids. We went to storm water together, I did a raid and walking around, the kids wilded. Lots of fun. 2/1 Tuesday At dinner, Mimi, with mouthful of bagel, said: Mrs Arnold said Mrs Spong's class was the best class ever. Our class was the best in the whooole school.
